Crews smooth the way for the reopening of the ramp from Route 18 northbound to Route 27 northbound into Highland Park. This ramp, which was closed to allow reconstruction and relocation of utilities which run through the area, will reopen in early November 2007. |
Looking south from the city-side of the old George Street Bridge, survey crews have staked out the future alignment of the new George Street structure. The concrete wall being demolished was the riverside supporting wall for the old ramp from George Street to Route 18 south. |
